How the Swimming Pool Heat Pump works?
As the pool water circulates through the heat pump, it passes through the filter and heat pump heater. Heat pump heaters have a fan that draws in outside air and directs it over the evaporator coil. The liquid refrigerant inside the evaporator coil absorbs heat from the outside air and turns into a gas. The hot gas in the coil then passes through the compressor. The compressor adds heat, creating a very hot gas that goes through the condenser. The condenser transfers heat from the hot gas to the cooler pool water that circulates through the heater.
