What is an airless bottles?

If aerosol dispensers and pump closures had one worst enemy, that would be it. Airless bottles have replaced the need for pumps and sprayers, eliminating the need to struggle to suck up every last drop of product. How airless pumps work?

The principle of how airless pumps work is very simple. They rely on the vacuum of the bottle to work, which helps push a small disc located at the bottom of the bottle upwards, which then pushes the product upwards. Our airless pump bottles have a small hole in the bottom that helps draw in air to help push the disc upward. This small hole is not a threat to the product inside, so it will not spill or leak from the bottom.

1. No oxidation

Airless pump bottles​ help reduce the amount of oxygen entering the bottle by not allowing oxygen to flow back into the bottle. This is made possible by the small hole located at the bottom of the bottle. Instead of the pump pumping back air from the nozzle located at the top of the pump, it goes back into the container where the product is located. It pulls air out of the hole at the bottom to help push the disc upward without coming in contact with the product inside.

This lack of oxygen helps extend the shelf life of your product by 15% instead of using a typical bottle cap. Long gone are the fears of not reaching the last drop of product due to the draw tube. With airless pump technology, closures are now no longer necessary. 

2. No gravity
